The short version: BonsaiLog does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no cloud, and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Nothing. BonsaiLog has no user accounts and does not transmit your information anywhere. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and the app makes no network requests to us or any third party.
Your trees, care tasks, journal entries, growth photos, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. Photos you add are saved inside the app’s own storage.
When you use Backup or Export, BonsaiLog creates a file and hands it to iOS’s standard share sheet. You choose where it goes (for example, Files, AirDrop, or email). BonsaiLog itself never uploads it anywhere.
The optional one-time “BonsaiLog Pro” upgrade is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction; BonsaiLog receives only the confirmation that the purchase is valid. We do not see your payment details.
Care reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent from any server.
Because BonsaiLog collects no data at all, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated text will appear here and in the app.
BonsaiLog is a fully offline app with no account system. For questions, use the support contact listed on the app’s App Store page.
